Installation of the Eco-Slide is a snap, and electrical connection to the pad printer is performed by simply plugging its cord into the printer's accessories outlet. Once installed, the Eco-Slide makes it possible to print a single color on long, narrow objects including catheters, rulers, or other parts up to 10" long. Its left-to-right ink cup motion produces uniform ink dispersal on both metal and plastic printing plates. And artwork and color changeovers are fast and easy. 	Process Survey Improves Efficiency, Reduces Cost (1/3/04) Evaluating and upgrading pad printing processes, supplies, and equipment can yield dramatic productivity improvements, while significantly reducing operating cost. To help our customers evaluate their present operating processes, equipment, and supplies, ITW Imtran's technical service team is now offering a new process survey. This survey covers both Imtran and other pad printing equipment. The goal of this program is to reduce production downtime and increase efficiency by improving work processes and helping customers make the best choices in pad printing supplies and equipment for their operations. Let one of ITW Imtran's skilled service technicians visit you soon. During this visit, the technician will perform the following services: · Study current practices and identify potential problem areas · Inspect, test, and adjust pad printer(s) · Repair equipment as indicated, using on-hand supplies and parts · Recommend process flow improvements and equipment and supplies upgrades to further increase productivity Following the site visit, the ITW Imtran technician will prepare a personalized summary report to assist you in evaluating future supplies and equipment requirements. This report will describe recommended process improvements and identify equipment and supplies upgrades for increasing productivity, while reducing operating costs.
